A Damning Indictment of the Present Masters of the GOP, Where the Right Went Wrong calls to account both the Bush White House and Beltway Conservatives for an abandonment of principle in the pursuit of permanent power. Topics include:
* The neo-conservative cabal - liberal wolves in conservative suits
* How the Iraq war has widened and imperiled the War on Terror
* How current trade policy outsources American sovereignty, independence, and industrial power
Just grabbed this book from the library, and so far it's a great read. Buchanans analysis of the problem and it's paralells in history is impressive, so I figured I'd start a thread dedicated to discussing this book.
Some excerpts:
"Not even the British Empire at it's Zenith dominated the world in the way the United States does today."
"All republics, all empires, all civilizations pass away. The Roman republic began to die the day that Caesar's legions crossed the Rubicon to make him dictator of Rome. Cicero knew it. The crowds did not, or did not care. Four hundred years later, Alaric the Goth led his army over the Alps to ring down the curtain on the worlds greatest empire.
What brought Rome down? A loss of faith in the old gods and old virtues? Degeneration of the aristocracy? The corruption of the people with bread and circuses? The follies of dissolute emperors? The wealth dissipated in war? The collapsing birth rate? The immigrant invasion of barbarians who had no love for Roman culture or history? Displacement of Rome's soldiers with foreign conscripts?
These were the symptoms of impending death. What was the cause?
The emperor Julien the Apostate, Gibbon's hero in The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, believed Rome could not survive Constantine's embrace of a Christianity that forswore the martial virtues for "Love thy neighbor". The empire could not survive the loss of the old pagan faith. When a religion dies, the culture and the civilization that grew out of it die with it. And indeed, as Rome was invaded by barbarians, popes would stand at the city gates to plead for mercy from the likes of Attila the Hun.
In our time, empires collapse more suddenly. The twentieth century was a graveyard of empires. The British Empire, which encompassed a fourth of the wolrd's surface and a fifth of it's people, vanished within a quarter century of it's "finest hour" in 1940. ... All the Empires of the twentieth century are gone. Only the American empire endures.
But the invasion of Iraq and the war to impose democracy upon that Arab and Islamic nation that has never known democracy may yet prove a textbook example of the imperial overstretch that brought down so many empires of the past.
In the train carrying him to Fulton for his Iron Curtain speech in 1946, a rueful Churchill confessed to his American companion, "If I were to be born again, I would wish to be born in the United States. Your country is the future of the world... Great Britiain has passed its zenith."
A startling admission from the personification of British patriotisim. Yet, the great man's melancholy was understandable. For Churchill had been first lord of the Admiralty at the apex of empire and had watched from the wheelhouse as the great ship went down. Historians search the nineteenth century for the causes of Britain's collapse.
Yet, if we were to name one cause of the fall of Britain, it would be war. The Boer War was Britain's Vietnam. With it came a loss of faith in the superiority of British civilization and spread of the heretical idea that a British Empire that denied self-determination to peoples of color was no longer morally defensible.
Then for ten years between 1914-1918 and 1939-1945, Britain was locked in a mortal battle with the mightiest land power in Europe. Britain alone fought both world wars from the first day to the last. By 1945, whe was bleeding, bankrupt, exhausted, finished. She would relinquish her empire, sink into socialism, become a Marshall Plan mendicant, and cede the great decisions on the destiny of Europe and of the world to the Americans. By the end of Winston Churchill's last premiership, Britian was a shadow of the world power whose inner cabinet he had entered in 1911.
By Churchill's death in 1965, nothing remained of the empire upon which the sun had never set. Writes Labor Party statesman Sir Roy Denman:
[INDENT]At the beginning [of the twentieth century], Britain, as the centre of the biggest empire in the world, was at the zenith of her power and glory. Britain approaches the end as a minor power, bereft of her empire... Britain will end the century little more important than Switzerland. It will have been the biggest secular decline in power and influence since seventeenth-century Spain.[/INDENT]
"Though the ojbect of being a Great Power is to be able to fight a Great War," wrote British historian A. J. P. Taylor, "the only way of remaining a Great Power is not to fight one." Britain fought two. In World War I, she lost 720,000 dead. In World War II, another 400,000. In ten years of war, Britain had sunk the blood of the best and bravest of her young, and the accumulated treasure of her empire.
Since the Cold Wars end, all the blunders of Britain's ruling class in its march to folly have been replicated by our elites, from the arrogance of power to the alienation of allies, to the waging of imperial wars where no vital U.S. interests were at risk. Spurning the counsel of John Quincy Adams, America now goes abroad in search of monsters to destroy.
For a century and a half, America held to George Washington's dictum of no "permanent alliances". Now we have treaty guarantees out to fifty nations on five continents and troops in a hundred countries. Some 150,000 U.S. soldiers are tied down in seemingly endless wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
At home, the budget surpluses of the 1990's have vanished as the cost of the Afghan and Iraq wars has soared beyond the projections of the most pessimistic of the president's economic economic advisors. The U.S. budget deficit is above 4 percent of GDP. With a trade deficit in goods nearing 6 percent of GDP, the dollar has lost a third of it's value against the euro in three years. One in six manufacturing jobs has disappeared since President Bush took the oath. By mid-2004, the president had failed to abolish a single significant agency, program, or department of a Leviathan government that consumes a fifth of our economy. Nor had he vetoed a single bill.
America's native-born population has ceased to grow. It's birth rate has fallen below replacement levels. U.S. population growth now comes from immigrants, legal and illegal, from Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The religious, ethnic, and racial composition of the country, a child of Europe, is changing more rapidly than that of any other great nation in history in an era when race, religion, and ethnicity are tearing countries apart. The melting pot no longer works its magic. Newcomers are not assimilating. We are becoming what Theordore Roosevelt warned against our ever becoming - "a polyglot boardinghouse for the world."

This book is a highly recommended read, and a great primer to give to prospective converts to White Nationalism.

notice that as the british empire was weakened by its parasite (jews), the parasite started migrating to a new host (the usa). i wonder where the parasite can go next? they can't parasitize their own (izzyland).

China will be the next superpower. I don't know how the jews are going to get in there, but I won't put anything past them.

Buchanan's made a very lucrative career out of discussing the obvious, while leaving out the unmentionable, specifically jews.
Nevertheless, he is useful as a chronicler of the Kwan Imperial debacle. This latest jewish empire will also pass, and given the jewish efforts to ingratiate themselves with the Chinese, one might conclude they're now looking for greener pastures in the east, or possible concessions from the emperors of the coming Middle Kingdom.
In any event, Buchanan is too little too late. His writing can be safely referenced and distributed to the lemming masses, but don't look for it to radicalize White lemmings.

Buchanan's made a very lucrative career out of discussing the obvious, while leaving out the unmentionable, specifically jews.
In the book he does mention that the murderers of the czars were mostly Jews, and that "many" of the neo-cons are Jews, which is just peripheral enough mention to get him past the censors, and maybe enough to plant the seeds in the minds of the curious masses who may want to know more.
Overall you're right... his books are useful as an introduction to the problems we face for the uninitiated masses... merely a stepping stone... but a very useful one... particularly since he and his ideas are able to get exposure and discussion on mainstream media.
We must start building ideological and communication bridges between those he reaches and the real movement that they'll need to find to really be useful to our cause.
Nevertheless, he is useful as a chronicler of the Kwan Imperial debacle.
Very useful. His writing is very good, and hard-hitting enough to shake any well-intentioned, red-blooded, semi-conscious American out of their tv/church/skool induced jew-multi-cult trance.

His books can only initiate them... but then it is up to us to reach out to them on the web and radicalize them. In that sense, his books and existence are very, very useful to us.

Let me say this: I'm involved in a business with the Chinese, four years now. There is NO WAY the jews will get the sorty of leverage in China as they have in the US. The only way they can 'control' China is by using their hold over America and the West in general, in a final conflict. I wouldn't put that past them.

Let me say this: I'm involved in a business with the Chinese, four years now. There is NO WAY the jews will get the sorty of leverage in China as they have in the US. The only way they can 'control' China is by using their hold over America and the West in general, in a final conflict. I wouldn't put that past them.
I'm tempted to agree, but that's what many other peoples and nations thought, and the Jews just kept trying and trying from every angle, over hundreds, even thousands of years, until they finally found a hole to squirm through and begin their cultural strategy of eating away those nations foundations.
I saw an article a few months back about some old billionaire Jew who was over in China meeting with gov't and business officials to expand his gambling and business dealings into Taiwan, which I think the Chinese now finally have practical control over because of the scheduled handover... this is all from a vague glance at an article, so correct me if I'm wrong on the political aspects... but from what it sounded like, the Jew was close to getting his deals done, and I can see them using that Taiwan foothold as a base from which to penetrate China.
Personally I think someone (or a large number of us) should set out to educate the Chinese about the history and habits of the Jews. Maybe we could form some sort of legal, non-violent global coalition where Jew-aware Russians, Eastern Europeans, Western Europeans, Americans, Chinese, other Asians, and Muslims could all share info, educate the unsuspecting nations, and agitate and propagandize on a global scale in every language against the kikes and their kikery.
David Duke, regardless of his reputation or perceived flaws, seems to be doing some good work in Russia and the Ukraine to help wake up their people to the continuous threat of world kikery.

The Boer War, WWI, WWII ... don't fight any more Germanic brethren now, you hear?
What a shame. Fight the Boers on behalf of Jews who wanted control of the diamonds. Then fight Germany over Serbia, and when Germany offered peace as they stood outside Paris, Britain got World Jewry behind them, who promised to bring the U.S. into the game, and kept the war going.
Then a third war, now against the evil Nazis who hated Jews for no reason at all. And when Germany offered peace in 1941, and every Briton was ready to accept as everything had been a disaster up to that point, Churchill said no. Churchill, who was about to lose the family mansion because of his debts. Churchill, whose debts were then bought by a Jewish millionaire.
Britain was the most powerful force on earth at one point; in 1970, half of all goods, half of all GDP were produced in Britain. That may be hard to imagine - so much production, on such a small island. Britain controlled a quarter of the world's land mass. Britain owned the world. But not even the world's owner can fight too many wars.
The United States was a country of farmers back then, and noone imagined that it could be any different. And Russia was run by the most autocratic monarchy in the world - something like communism was unthinkable there, more than in any other nation. Isn't it fascinating, how things change? We can't predict the future. Nothing moves in cycles.
