In my town, Penzey's Spices is a cutesy spice store, a wholesome shop offering you tons of specs you never knew existed. I noticed a poster on its window:

Justice is the light that has guided America through every storm, now one party wants to obstruct it, twist it, steal it away from We the People to gift it to their donors. America's future depends on us not letting that happen Happy seasoning!

I was curious who they were talking about: What party? I went to their Facebook page, and my question was answered: all of it virulently anti-Trump, accusing him and his supporters of being fascists, wanting to destroy liberty, etc. Pretty nasty about gun owners as well. You get the picture. I sent an email to Penzey's asking them to clarity what they meant, but, as always is the case with liberals, no reply.
I'm struck how KIND, how CARING they are, all the GOOD SPICES they have, and they're so cheerful…kind of a Ben and Jerry's of spices…but when you get beneath them, there's a real hatred of anyone not towing the liberal line.
I'd be curious to see who their backers are.

In the meantime, screw their cases of spices…stick to salt and pepper.
