The hippie thread was interesting. Each persons take on it was provoking because the movement itself was totally uncohesive. I even made the comment that bill clinton was the first hippie president, suit and tie and all, because it was an ideology at its core----the idea that there is no absolute truth and to seek pleasure while you can.

Which brings me to bruce springsteen. The guy has the reputation for being anti establishment libtard, but he's a capitalist if ever there was one. I just read a biography about the guy.

How does somebody worth probably half a billion dollars get a reputation for being non comformist? A guy who charges 200 bucks for a concert ticket or is it 500 ???

Ive even read that the song born in the usa is actually a slam on the USA, not some patriotic anthem.

For a libtard, he sure rakes in a lot of money and burns a lot of jet fuel.
