It was a bloody Sunday in High Point — two shooting deaths and a stabbing. Suspects have been arrested in one of the shootings and the stabbing.
The stabbing happened early Sunday when two women fought just before 4 a.m. at 1008 Asheboro St. Police said Marquita Shimaine Evans, 25, of 304 Taylor Ave. stabbed Latonya Spann, 28, with a glass bottle, cutting her head and both arms.
Evans fled, police said, but turned herself in after a warrant was issued for her arrest. She has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. She remains in the Guilford Counnty jail in High Point on Tuesday on a $90,000 bond. -- Continues
