Today is Nelson Mandela's birthday. In “honor” of the “sacrifices” and “struggles” this thing has made over the years, we ought to help out by bringing his sordid yet real past into the light.

Make no mistake, Mandela was an ANC member at the height of the 60's radicalism when they were planting bombs, murdering bystanders and actively conducting sabotage operations in various parts of Africa. Mandela personally was directly or indirectly responsible for the terrorist deaths of a number of people. He has never apologized for doing so, choosing to instead ignore his unsavory history and enjoy the praise of a deluded West.
