This meme is very common in the Kwa where people joke that the quiet one in the class will shoot up the place or the "nice" guy turns out to be the killer in the end who nobody suspected (and is usually just some average White man).
In a couple of the GoyFires, Alex said how the media likes to commonly portray the city as dirty and rude but with a heart of gold underneath while the small town looks nice on the outside but is secretly racist and/or evil (I'm sure you've all seen some movie that attacks rural life in some way).
I think this concept can also be said of the media's portrayal of people. The kind clean cut White guy is nice on the outside but usually ends up being a racist or evil somehow while the dirty street nigger has a lot of talents but isn't getting a chance by evil Whitey. You can find this meme commonly in movies about some shitskin or group of hoodrats that get noticed by a White person who takes them under his/her/their wing and they finally make it, while usually beating some Whites on their way.
The reason I bring that up and the story about the dead gookette was a realization for why the crime was getting so much attention (although I could be wrong). If it turned out to be a nigger or something it would just be this great tragedy but if it turned out to be a White guy (which it appears to be maybe) you can just imagine all the unsaid undertones. A nice guy that turns out to be evil who cuts down some intelligent and hardworking Asian woman who embraces diversity blah blah.
Yeah you just forget about that attack on the White kid on the bus by niggers, it wasn't a hate crime. Forget the smiling and laughing crowd of mystery meat shitskins, here's some dead gook to feel sorry for.
