Always liked Cosby, it's too bad more black people and even black leaders aren't like him, men who can at least honestly assess the racial situation in america (if they are capable or so inclined) even if the reality is not a pretty one for "their side", not that it's any better than ours. I'd half expect more support for a white west from elderly blacks than young whites these days, and that's just ruckin' fidiculous.

It shows you that blacks do not want to become civilized people and start contributing something positive to the countries that they live in. Bill has always had good comments that spoke the truth but the black communities always shun him as a "racist". Cosby was smart - smarter than most, even whites. He got himself educated, and went on to make a fortune entertaining white folks - like him, so to speak. I recall some his earlier stunts made me re-evaluate what I had always assumed to be the differences between black and white behavior. Here was Cosby, acting, and seeming to be, just like white folks. He made himself that way, probably because he had what it takes - intelligence, ambition, and probably some white blood somewhere along the line.

If you found yourself in a society where theft, corruption, lying, bloody pogroms, and the most physically damaging behavior was rampant, and the majority thrived in it because they were "made that way", wouldn't you rather not try to make of yourself one of those? Unless you happened to be born with enough of those traits to be able to compete with any chance of succeding?

To compete in a white society (a FREE white society absent any forced bias) requires you to have the traits that are common in white folks. Blacks can have those needed traits only by bell-curve rarities, or by having some white blood come through in them. So it makes sense that blacks in general opt out and create a the kind of world for themselves where they can be natural and succeed, instead of always losing out to the white man.

That is my armchair attempt to understand Cosby and his less agreeable "brothers".
