If anything Communism is the only thing they have to cling on to, or at least the Soviet legacy. That's what preserves nations like Belarus for example. The problem is that with all the love for the strength of their ancestors who fought under Stalin, the actual PRACTICE of that strength among the younger generation is non-existent.
