Man in court over student rapes
[color="navy"]A man has appeared in court charged with the rape of two foreign students in a Devon city.
[color="navy"]The girls, aged 16 and 18, from eastern Europe, were picked up by a car in Exeter's High Street on 5 August.
They were driven out of the city, [color="navy"]before being raped and left at the Marsh Barton Industrial Estate.
[color="navy"]Abdullah Al Jaber, 30, from Dunchideock, Exeter, was charged with two counts of rape and two serious sexual offences at Exeter Magistrates.
Mr Al Jaber was remanded in custody to appear before Exeter Crown Court on 23 November.

DOUBLE RAPE CHARGE MAN NAMED

A 30-year-old man has been charged with the double rape of two teenage girls in Exeter.
Abdullah Al Jaber, from Dunchideock, was charged yesterday evening at Heavitree Road police station with the [color="Navy"]rape of a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old, who were visiting the city from Belarus and Russia.
The accused, who has been living at the three-star Lord Haldon Hotel, was due to appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court this morning.
[color="navy"]The alleged rape of the two teenage girls is said to have happened in the early hours of Monday, August 6.
