Been hearing a lot about the virtues of edible insects lately. But I come away feeling edible insects are just another profit driven scam; like everything else in our corporate society. Like the robots that do everything for us, despite the fact we are capable of cleaning and doing all these things ourselves relatively easily. Just like Feminism wasn't about female empowerment at all, but instead about doubling the tax base. Just like Climate change isn't about climate at all, but instead all about creating a new industry to profit from under renewables, and creating another taxation stream and financial opportunity via carbon credits. Just like all this tech we are marketed, and which we don't actually need, isn't about empowering and connecting us at all, but which is nothing but a money grab by tech companies selling us products we don't need simply to make money and to turn us into living corporate research tools useful only for the data we provide to them. At the end of the day 99% of the stuff we are marketed is unnecessary junk whose only value is it's ability to generate profit for it's corporate masters.

I can't help but notice all the countries where eating insects is common also correlate with non-white ethnicity. And then I also start wondering if it also is a sign of primitive behavior?

This is why I get really annoyed when people compare supposedly ancient 'white' civilizations, such as that of the Greeks and Romans, to modern northern European civilizations and the countries of America and the British dominions we see today. The Greeks and Romans were more like the Chinese in their eating habits, routinely consuming insects and all manner of offal. Signs to me of primitive behavior and show how truly different we are from them.

What is so hilarious about this is all these edible insect bars are so obviously just a money grab at the affluent Western consumer whose currency is rated higher than anywhere else.

If the entire non-White world eat insects traditionally, then why don't these edible insect companies simply market their products there? Instead of forcing them on the West? I mean you are never going to change Western eating habits to the extent that edible insects will be profitable in the West during our life times- so why not then market them instead at the billions of people in the non-White world who apparently eat them all the time?

The reason they don't market them to the non-White world is because the whole concept of insects being eaten regularly and as a mainstream source of food for non-Whites is all a scam. In fact studies show non-Whites are transitioning their diet over to a more Western diet, and abandoning their traditional insect eating habits.

Eating insects is not only dangerous, but the quality of protein is nowhere near as good as the quality of protein found in red meat.

Edible insects are nothing but opportunists trying to take advantage of the hipster White culture that sees Whites guilty about everything- including now their horrible wasteful food choices that consist of eating meat that is less environmental than their non-White counterparts. This is the level of insanity our world has come to.

I can see the decline of Western civilization will correlate with us eating bugs like the rest of the stagnant third world already does, completing our transition into a failed state. Especially when you look at all the money our Marxist Communist governments and their billionaire oligarchs are throwing at edible insects.
