i just rented this DVD from my public library about Scientology.
It is called Scientology: The Prison of Belief. If you want to know
what scientology is all about and the experiences of the people who
join you should watch this. L. Ron Hubbard wrote the book Dianetics
around 1950 and it was a best seller and he persuaded a lot of people
to join his new religion of scientology. Hubbard was a prolific author
who published over 1000 books mostly pulp sci fi. He had some very
odd behavior and irrational beliefs.
This movie was broadcast on HBO in 2015 and was nominated for a number
of emmys.
My simple advice- Don't ever join this cult but watch the movie.
