they convinced you nuclear bombs were real, they even created engrams in your parents, instinctual memories, intense enough to be transmitted to offspring.

so you were BORN with an instinct to believe in nuclear weapons.

and then ..EVERYONE believed in this kind of shit, instinctively, from birth, and so the 100th monkey phenomena settled it into your brain like hardened concrete.

so it is A LOT OF WORK to break such a powerful spell. and when the spell DOES begin to break....it's like a drug habit, they keep relapsing into belief in the spell. that's what their entire psyche was built around!! It's like taking pieces out of the bottom of the Jenga pile.

and then the whole thing collapses....and the work begins.
