Americans believe George Bush is the worst president since 1945, while Ronald Reagan was the best, according to a Quinnipiac University telephone poll of 1,500 registered voters nationwide released yesterday.Of those surveyed, 34% ranked Mr Bush as the worst, 17% said Richard Nixon and 16% picked Mr Clinton. The poll found that 58% of voters disapprove of the job Mr Bush is doing. Reagan was ranked as the best president since 1945 by 28% of those surveyed, while 25% thought Mr Clinton was the best, although 40% of voters aged 18-29 ranked him at the top.

Just as I figured, Americans don't know anything about life before 1945 (except "the holocaust"). Hell, I'm surprised they go back that far. Well, I guess they have to go back that far, per the "History" Channel.

Actually, I thought it made sense to keep the poll among the peer group of Post WWII presidents.
Go back any further and I honestly doubt any one of the last 11 could hold their own against... Millard Fillmore. Let's not even think about Andy Jackson or, what the hell, Warren Harding.
A poll that included earlier presidents would show what midgets we've been putting up with since ZOG took over. Can't have that.

Of course you're right, FJ. I just find more to choose from in olden times. Modern "presidents" all seem like starker and starker versions of Nero's horse, to me.
If they think W is bad, which he is, they ain't seen nuthin' yet.

We'd be better off with the horse.
You're very correct about what's coming. I fully expect Hillary and an illegal alien dwarf lesbian on the democrat's ticket in '08. And even that'll be the lesser of two evils.
