Today is Good Friday when the Jews/Edomites killed Jesus. It was they that plotted his death. Good Friday is a most important holiday.

1Th 2:15; " the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men."

The Roman soldiers were not guilty:

Pontus Pilate was not guilty of killing Christ, Jesus even told him that he did not have the power of life and death over him.
