Outrage Against CBS and Carolla Grows

The head of the Assembly Select Committee on Hate Crimes, Assemblywoman Judy Chu (D-Monterey Park), has joined a growing coalition to call Adam Carolla’s recent skit completely inappropriate.
“Adam Carolla was demanding the Asian population by making the ‘ching chong’ sounds,” said Chu. “It’s a throwback to the wartime era. That it happened in the heart of the Asian community is shocking.”
Chu said statements by CBS Radio are not acceptable because there is still no apology from Carolla. “If this radio is responsive to the community, we will get an apology.”
In a letter written to the chairman and CEO of CBS Radio, the network that aired the segment, Chu demanded the termination of Adam Carolla and his show. It was also sent to CBS Radio sponsors, including AOL/Time Warner and Samsung.
Eight California legislators, including Leland Yee, Carol Liu,, Wilma Chan, Ted Lieu and Alberto Torrico, have demanded an apology and reprimand of Carolla by CBS Radio.
Last month, Carolla mocked the Asian Excellence Awards by airing a skit of Asian Americans with voices saying “ching chong” repeatedly.
Groups like Korean American Coalition and Organization of Chinese Americans began a mail campaign. The Asian American Justice Center called for an apology and for Carolla to be reprimanded, as well as a meeting with CBS heads.
Joel Hollander, chairman and CEO of CBS Radio, wrote back to Karen K. Narasaki, president and executive director of AAJC, but offered no apologies: “Please be assured that the issues you and others have brought forth to my attention have been taken seriously and addressed with Adam.”
“This is unacceptable,” said a disappointed Narasaki. “It did not apologize … nor did it indicate that the company or the station in any serious way held Mr. Carolla accountable. We are now letting the station’s advertisers know what their money and corporate image is being tied to.”
“I think it’s a letter sent out to appease folks but it doesn’t say anything,” said Kara Inae Carlisle of the Korean American Coalition L.A. chapter.
The Adam Carolla segment comes on the heels of other radio controversies targeting Asian Americans. Last May, two DJs on New Jersey’s 101.5 lampooned candidate Jun Choi (now elected mayor of Edison) and disparaged Chinese voters. In New York last January, HOT 97 aired a song mocking Asian tsunami victims.
After the tsunami song, the Coalition Against Hate Media formed and coordinator Kai Yu played a leading role in organizing efforts against the station. After much pressure, HOT 97 eventually fired two staffers and donated $1 million to the tsunami disaster.
Yu said some 50 East Coast organizations are in the letter-writing campaign, and he is confident that sponsors will eventually take action.
After receiving letters and e-mails, a Travelocity vice president of corporate communications said it will raise concerns over the Carolla segment with CBS Radio and make sure their advertising will not support the show.
“Sponsors and advertisers do not want to be associated with this type of programming,” said Yu. “The Asian American community is a rapidly growing population with a strong purchasing power. And that’s something they recognize.”
‘Ching Chong’ Uses
One notable use of “ching chong” came in December 2002 when Irwin Tang of AsianWeek wrote about National Basketball Association star Shaquille O’Neal baiting Yao Ming: “You tell Yao Ming, ‘Ching-chong-yang-wah-ah-soh.” After public protests, O’Neal apologized.
“Ching chong” is a slur used to parody Chinese accents, sometimes used with “Chinaman,” as in the case of this nursery-style rhyme:
Ching Chong Chinaman sitting on a fence,
Trying to make a dollar out of fifteen cents.
Along came a choo-choo train,
Knocked him in the cuckoo-brain,
And that was the end of fifteen cents.

I don't get what they are so upset about. It fucking sounds like they are saying ching chong when they talk in their native toungue, if they don't want to get made fun of for it then either learn sign language or get the fuck out of non gook speak countries.

This is just another glaring example of the attitude that white people should be seen and not heard. Whitey should sit down and shut up--that's the attitude. These locusts know that in this day and age whitey is weak, PC is in, and if their little feelings are hurt, well, they'll just snap their fingers and get whitey fired.
Don't worry, chink, one day in the not-to-distant future we'll all be gone and you won't have to worry about whitey racism anymore. I pity the muds who'll be under them.

I find Asiatics to be amusing. They are really funny to look at. They do pretty much look the same and I'm not just saying that. Gooks are funny - stop and look at them one day. You won't say to yourself that they are dangerous looking like the wild animal black as coal African Jungle Bunny Niggers - the gooks are an amusing breed.
They are the classical "tipping point" race. When there are just a few, they generally behave because their race is somewhat quiet and has a bit more manners than the animalisitc nigger race. But when they reach a certian number, forget it. They cause all sorts of problems.
If you know even a bit about the gook race you can classify them in this way from top to bottom:
1. Japanese
2. Korean
3. Philipino
4. Mongolian
5. China
6. Vietnams
7. Hmongs and other assorted stone age peoples
The Japs are decent for certain things. The most intelligent, organized and highly evolved Asiatics. Koreans 2nd best. The rest are mostly filthy slant eyed funny gooks.

Some middle aged chink bitch spied me as a "foreigner" (cause of my car license plate, and despite my obvious DNA differences from hers) the day before yesterday, and tried to put the ole Chinaman stare down hex to me. After 25 years in "gookadise", I am very familiar with the game, and heartily enjoy it. Suffice to say, three times I won, even after her White male companion looked across her. After I won game one, I'd preface each set by pulling the outer edges of my eyes up with my index fingers and staring for a few introductory seconds. She got the point.

Nevertheless, these bastards telling us what to do in our countries are gonna get the boot, and hard.
He claims that he isn't Jewish but I detect Semitic features in him especially the frizzy hair. He looks like a lot of Lebanese people I've seen so he might be Semitic without being Jewish. We shouldn't forget that Lebanon was part of the Roman Empire for a long time. Perhaps this would be a good time for the return of Diablo to help us sort this out.

He kinda looks like the lebanese guy from the show Monk, Tony Shaloub(spelling?). I always thought Carolla was a sephardic kike......
