Tempting to think that but I think intelligent people are intrigued and want to know more. When I started reading VNN, the "insider lingo" was a large part of what kept me coming back.

I started reading VNN pretty much when it started. It'd only been up for a month or so. The references I "got" just made me that much more interested in finding out about the ones I didn't get.

It's a matter of confidence, really. Be yourself like Linder has, and if you're consistently logical and humorous you'll attract readers.

Quality over quantity. Attracting the best rather than the most. I may not be among "the best" myself, but I see what's going on and I enjoy it. Hope it lives long.

That's good advice Border Ruffian. Also, Crosshead, or any other new people, should just Google any term or phrase they don't understand. If it's from VNN's front page, and they still can't understand anything from Googling it, just email Alex for clarification. When I first came to VNN, I would email Alex several times a month for clarification on some reference I didn't understand, or just to comment on an article or something. Now, I can read the front page without skipping a beat.

is typical. We tend to forget how absolutely insane the whole jewish conspiracy thing sounds to newcomers. I started off CI, so I can't really relate to what it must be like to be completely unaware of the jewish menace, but I know for most people it sounds pretty wacky. The jews make it easy for those who don't want to know the truth to avoid the issue altogether. But the jew is is easy enough to prove to anyone willing to face reality. Too bad there are so few of those.
