Post things you've noticed. That can be difficult because the changes can happen so slowly, you just don't catch it. For instance I've noticed something lately...

City lighting: Here in Denver a couple of decades ago the city was well lighted at night. It was easy and pleasant to drive about. Over time though that has changed. I'm guessing, but nearly half of the city lights are missing or completely dark. The ones that have functioning lights are now some kind of weak florescent, mildly orange light that illuminates almost nothing. Driving around, or walking around after dark, the city is really dark, really dark.

I guess that saves money, but it makes the city cold and unappealing.
