Sheriff Butch Conway pioneered this program in conjunction with a rescue group a number of years ago and this video takes you inside the Gwinnett County Jail to see how the program works.

Only a White dog loving man could have done this and made it work. They allow only non violent inmates to be a part of the program, so the majority of the inmates who participate are White. In the video there is one black shown. Hopefully when he gets out, he will be a better critter. The program probably makes a huge difference in the White inmates' lives.

The dogs are rescued out of the county animal shelter and tested for temperament and health.

I had not seen a pic of Sheriff Conway in a few years. He has aged but I hope he is healthy. His wife is a Gwinnett Co. Superior Court Judge. They are both big dog lovers. It makes a difference to have an intelligent White man in charge than an ignorant, corrupt nigger who could not care less about improving the lives of those incarcerated who are truly deserving of a hand up.
