On a dark night in October of 1979 a US Western Airlines passenger jet flying from Los Angeles, California to Mexico City, Mexico was destined for a horrifying end. It was October, alright. But not just any day in October. It was October 31, the day of witches and ghosts and black cats skittering around in the darkness.

It was, in fact, Halloween.

And very shortly it was also to become a day of terrifying death...
