I was thinking about asking April some things in a PM but then thought that the world might just be a little better off for her answering them in public. Here goes:
1. How long before a baby should be able to sit up by herself? What are some ways to teach her how to sit there without falling over?
2. What are some good vocal excercises one can do with a baby to help her learn to talk?
3. What are some field expedients for helping a baby with sore teeth?
4. When is a baby old enough to have a kiddie pool with a few inches of water?
5. What can be done about insects biting a baby who likes to spend time in a garden?
6. If a baby is listening to an audio book and hears a foul word, can it have an effect on the baby even if it's infrequent?
7. Is gator-aide good for a baby?
8. What are some good excercises to help a baby start crawling more quickly?
9. Have you ever heard of a baby that could walk, never having crawled at all?
What's the reason behind these questions? April has been a WONDERFUL friend to Crybaby (my baby's name more or less), whom she has never met. She's also given much needed advice and ideas above and beyond that of most "experts." Not to mention, April sent Crybaby a lot of gifts when she was born!
Since I'm the type of person, if you give me an inch, I'll take a mile---there's my battery of questions! Anyone mama can feel free to help April out so she won't have to type all night.
