"Purim is the traditional celebration of the slaughter of tens of thousands of Persians in the days of Queen Esther and is the most joyous day on the Jewish calendar..."
On March 17,2003 Bush announced the Iraq invasion at a "time of our choosing"
"A TIME OF OUR CHOOSING. Nothing could have spoken the meaning and intent of those words any more clearly, and it would have meant nothing if we were not aware of this horrible holiday: PURIM, defined as 'one of the most joyous and fun holidays on the jewish calendar'.
At 8pm, on that Eve of Purim, the puppet president -- one man -- announced 'his' decision to wrap up the 12 years of bombing runs over Iraq, the 12 years of sanctions against Iraq which deprived the people of vital medicines and clean drinking water, the 12 years in which nearly a million Iraqi infants and children died of disease and depleted uranium (DU) poisoning."http://www.sweetliberty.org/issues/israel/purim.htm
The launch of the invasion coincided with the end of the Gulf War in 1991:
"the 'Desert Storm'Gulf War ended exactly on the Jewish holiday of Purim in 1991. President George W. Bush’s public declaration of the present Gulf War with Iraq was made on the Feast of Purim 2003 – exactly 12 years to the day on the Hebrew calendar from the day the “Desert Storm” Gulf War ended. "
The Purim bloodlust satisfied:"...On 28 February President Bush ordered the cessation of offensive military operations before the "Highway of Death" could be completely closed off." ["The Gulf War, Ground War", http://www.indepthinfo.com/iraq/groundwar.shtml ]
On 28 February 1991, two major events connected with this war occurred:
First, we caught up to 150,000 fleeing Iraqi troops on a crowded highway from Kuwait to Basra, Iraq, and slaughtered them with fuel air bombs...Secondly, immediately after the "Highway of Death" destruction, President Bush ordered a cessation of hostilities. The war ended on February 28, 1991. Gulf War I has been popularly called the "100 hour war".http://www.cuttingedge.org/news/n1793.cfm
"...we are reminded of Purim, 1994, when Baruch Goldstein entered the mosque at Hebron and slaughtered 40 Palestinians as they prayed. As a result of this mass murder on Purim of the Palestinian "Amalek," there was great celebration in settler enclaves in occupied Palestine and in places like Brooklyn (this writer has video footage of these celebrations)..."

Interesting Fact: Few know that the stock market crashes of 1929 and 1987 both occured on the same Jewish holiday (Yom Kippur).Thse two days represent the two single greatest transfers of wealth in the 20th century.
"...Could this be a coincidence? There are 354 days in a lunar year, 29.5306 days per moon times 12 moons. The 1987 crash could have occurred on any one of those 354 dates in the year, but it occurred on the same date as the 1929 crash. That's a 1 in 354 chance! ..."http://www.calendarresearch.com/chapter1.html
The point is that the Jewish stringpullers do adhere to their holidays whenever possible to plan "events." An event early next week to escalate military tensions would not surprise me.
