Im always hearing how disgusted people are with greedy politicians and that "they'll sell you out for money".

But i wonder how materialistic the average person is? Lets say you have a middle class existence and you were offered a bribe of say, 50 grand to change a computer record of a potential employee with a crime sheet.

For that matter, if this house of cards collapses could you live at the standard of an early american settler? Farming subsistence, wood burning stove, canning, hard work, and no television.

Or would you be like those on depression day that jumped off buildings when their "fortune" evaporated?

----Also wondering how far you are in debt? If you buy a lot of stuff on credit it shows very low impulse control and high materialism.
