I would never ruin a vehicle like that.

Reeks of wigger redneck. :D

I remember when I was lifting my first 4-wheel drive pickup, people stopped and said they would lower it. I said go buy one and do that but I want to drive mine. Then I told them how retarded they would look stuck on a speed bump in a 4-wheel drive.

I can’t take pictures of my current truck but it is almost identical to this one except it is higher and a lighter shade of blue, has fender flares and front brush guards. . It has a big ole 360 V-8 magnum, and gets about 10 MPG.

When I get my camera software lined out I may take a picture of my bad ride.

BTW do you realize once a truck is cut and chopped to be that low it is not worth ever making a normal height again? Unless it is desired to be kept low, the value is destroyed because of all of the parts you have to weld, chop, change and modify. Also since one that low may have had to have the frame cut, notched and re-welded. If that is the case the truck is valueless because once you cut the frame in two the vehicle is never worth anything ever again.

Nice looking truck, I've been wanting to sell my Dakota 4x4 and get a full size but with gas prices going up and up it doesn't make too much sense for me.....

A Dodge Dakota is a funny truck because it guzzles just as much gas as a full sized one. The so called economical 3.9 v6 (now a 3.7) is just as bad as the magnum 5.9 in mpg. So really, whats the point?

Then again, if you don't use your truck for actual work, stick with a compact truck with a 4 banger for the occassional trips to the dump (like me).

dakota 1994, pretty shitty. Used it to help my friend move though, which makes it worth having for now.

What really torments me is that some people around here will say they don’t need a pickup truck because they have nothing to haul, or they don’t need a 4-wheel drive because they are to hard on gas. However when they move or it snows they will come begging.

I have 2 and I need and use both of them, so I just tell them I can’t afford to tear up my trucks because they want a cheaper or more comfortable ride during the good times.

I despise people that beg and borrow pick-up trucks unless theirs is in the shop, or just won’t do the job.

However hiring is always nice.

Why???? WHY???? WHY???????

Flames on a lowrider. Makes perfect sense.

A more appropriate paint job for such a vehicle:

Howjoo like my ride, Meester?

Why this spic lowered-suspension crap is so popular amongst White hot-rodders is something I'll never understand.

That one (a Nissan I think) is stock height. It just has ground effects and narrow low profile rims and tires. It only gives the illusion of being lowered. To truly lower one you have to C-notch the frame, install drop spindles, replace the fenders and rear panels with 4-wheel parts to give the wheels more clearance.

That truck could be returned to stock height in 5 minutes.

BTW it did make me think of a trend that I think is ugly. The no bumper trend. The (white owned) junkyard where I buy parts has tons (literally) of totaled vehicles because they had no bumper. I have a friend that had his 4-wheel drive pickup totaled by being rear ended by a Honda civic and the guy drove his car home. Because the truck had no bumper the car ran under his truck and destroyed the undercarriage.

My old truck was slammed in the rear by a full-sized ford (on more than one occasion) with zero body damage because I had a bumper with 3 times the factory rating. The factory weight limit was 1,000 pounds and mine was 3,000 pounds.

If I didn’t have a bumper one smash would have totaled my truck, but the guy was white and tried to jump between his truck (it was full of concrete, jumped out of gear while he was pumping gas) so it wouldn’t hurt my truck. I told him “no sweat, go home keep working and stay white”.

A more appropriate paint job for such a vehicle:

Or the Nissan could just be loaded down with spics.

Pickups suck and are a large part of why we're paying 2.50 for a gallon of regular. And like a typical American, some boast of their 10 mpg inefficiency. Like, man, you're a real resource hog. Oink oink!

Screw them rice rockets man, just give me a real gas guzzling pos. America, fuck yeah!

Did anyone ever stop to think that outside of America, there are no American trucks...ANYWHERE? Ford, Chevy, Dodge, whatever, they can't be exported because the thinking people outside of this goddamned country won't buy them.

Trucks are useless outside of construction work or a business needing a vehicle that can haul. What's the point?

Yeah, we're all just a bunch of hateful anti-semites

What the crud do you think I do for a living you goofball? Less MPG means more horsepower to haul concrete block and lumber. Also in a 4-wheel drive going where there are no roads is a must. You would be amazed at the people that build $3,000,000 homes and not even have a road (short of a goat path) to their castle.

I hear that same speech from people until they come begging to borrow my truck when they have to move their furniture or haul something home. I tell them to tie it to their Honda.

However there was this one guy who paid me $30 to haul his computer home (a distance of 2 miles) because he said it was more efficient to pay me to haul something then it was to buy a truck. Since I was already at the store I gladly helped and made $15 a mile in the process. When he offered I didn’t argue or make my truck speech.

Here in the snow covered mountainous sticks a powerful 4-wheel drive is not a luxury it is a necessity.

I remember the mexicans melting their springs and stretching narrow tires on wide rims in high school auto shop in the mid 70's. I laughed when I saw their low riders stuck on a speed bump at the local fast food joint. We Whites on the other hand turned out high performance vehicles.

Over the years I have watched pals destroy their trucks with wussy low-ride conversions, or going to the other extreme with suspension lift kits. All of those trucks have fallen by the wayside with control arms shot, suspensions wrecked, steering gear damaged, chassis frames cracked and ripped.

In contrast my stock fullsize 2WD 1980 C-10 longbed stepside (the last year Chevy produced wood beds and sidelight windows on the cab) is still going strong as a workhorse and as a proper truck.

The only concession I have made is to fit a gunrack in the rear window and a mushroom roll bar for lights needed when out country driving along narrow hedgelined lanes

Resist the temptation to ruin your truck - keep it clean and original.
