You started out on the right path brother. I bought a dodge 4-wheel drive a couple months ago and am amazed at the torque it has. It has more torque than any other 4-wheel drive I have ever been in, and that is what is important when you are pulling something. I wouldn’t give my dodge for 2 chevy’s or fords unless I was going to sell them to buy another dodge.

Regardless of what the net reviews claim a Dodge v-8 magnum has more torque and horsepower than either Chevy 350 or Ford 351/305. They also have more solid bodies. I have owned dodge, ford, Chevy and Toyota and the dodge puts them all to shame. My dodge has massive tires and it will still pick the front wheels off the ground when you kick it. I would like to see a stock Ford, Chevy Or Toyota do that.

I'm a ford guy, actually, but I drive a 1994 dodge dakota. Yeah I know, tiny trucks are a little on the retarded side, but it's a "first truck" deal, plus it was pretty cool to help my friend move his meager posessions. All around it's a damn good truck. I do sort of fret over trucks becoming too "carlike" though, it attracts all of those losers that buy $30,000 trucks to get to and from starbucks.

Sean, no way I'm believing a stock truck "will pick the front wheels off the ground when you kick it." Even with a locker rear, and the best traction you can find. The majority of weight in an unloaded truck is front of the mid point. And I bet the dealer would love to know you're even trying it.

Thanks buddy, and to set the story straight regarding the truck. I got the 2500 Ram with the Cummins motor, and there is no way in hell that thing feels like a car, not with 610 foot pounds of torque are 1200 rpms... BTW I picked it up last night and the mexiskin didn't even look at me...... :cheers:
