According to the quote in OP, it said he died in a "British prison", then reading further down, it said " the deputy furher did die in Berlin's Spandau prison in 1987."

Contradiction there. Where did he actually die?

Hi Vick!. I was a guard at Spandau in the mid 1960's. It was an allied run prison in the British sector of North Berlin.
We rotated duty manning the prison perimeter I believe quarterly. The duty rotated between the Americans, British, French and Russians.
One day a pvt Lamb, who appeared to be Jewish got tired of guard duty in a tower and started aiming his M14 rifle at the three prisoners in the garden.
The prisoners complained and Lamb was immediately relived from guard duty, which was reportedly why he had done it. Lamb was in my company.
I suppose since it was in the British occupation sector you could call it a British prison, especially if it was the Brit's turn for guard duty.
There is a theory that Hess didn't commit suicide (he was found hanging in a shed) but that British upper class families that Hess may have been trying to contact in 1941 didn't want any death bed confession implicating Brits in a peace feeler to the NAZI. I don't know for sure if Hess was hung while the Brits were in charge at Spandau.
The last three prisoners in 1964 were Hess, Albert Speer and a guy named Rosen something. The Rosen character was head of the Hitler youth. Hess and Rosen something were released in about 1966.
Hess was a bleeding heart NAZI who stole a Luftwaffe plane and bailed out over Scotland to try to meet peace minded Brits. Hess was upset about bombing British children.
No good deed goes unpunished.
If you want to see a couple of good (or at least better) Hollywood movies about WWII in Europe try "The Monuments Men" and "Fury".
They portray the Germans much better than the usually "Evil Nazi/German"
movie and are worth spreading around to help dissipate the usual Jewish propaganda.
For instance in "Fury" one German prisoner is shot in the back and Brad Pitt ask the character "Bible" if Jesus loves Hitler, to which Bible responds "I presume so".
All the pro-German sentiment in these movies is very low key as you can imagine but is well worth getting fence sitting whites an opportunity to enjoy.
I almost forgot the George Clooney Kate Blanchett movie "The Good German" set in immediate post war Berlin. Enjoy.

Oh, no good windyfarter would EVER suggest "Strelnikov" is lying. Well, I wasn't there, but I think most folks' memories would be better than "Strelnikov's."

Well, I'll outdo that one. I helped guard Lee Harvey Oswald prior to his death.

Ignore the fact that I was 13 years old and living in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, when Kennedy was killed.
