Groups do serve this positive purpose, despite their obvious shortcomings. With the rise of the Internet though, I question whether groups and their associated mailing lists are needed these days. I suppose...I can stirr the shit too, sometimes, but I wouldn't do it now. Shawn Walker is not someone I supported or particularly liked. As it looks in hindsight, I should have never joined the NA, particularly now that federal agents are most assuredly sifting through the contents of the Hillsboro HQ.

I'd say he'll certainly be considered a flight risk. He is the head of the NA which is known to have international contacts as well as sympathizers in the U.S. who would be willing to assist an escape attempt, at least by Federal logic. If he does get bail it will probably be ridiculously high and if he can post it he'll still be under a huge amount of surveillance. It'll be difficult but I hope he does get away if he tries even though I don't much care for him.
All I can think to say is go man go, run for the border and don't look back.

This is only true IF Shaun Walker has bought his way out of jail BEFORE the trial. And, frankly, he may not be able to under any circumstances. The judge might deem him a "flight risk", and keep him under 24/7/365 police custody from here to the end of the trial.

But...he shouldn't delay in seeking bail. Then, if he succeeds in getting out until the trial, he can then decide whether he has much of a chance of winning his case. (which I don't think he has)
