I was brought up in Germany in an NS family and we believed then as we do now that despite the need to box clever and adapt to 21st Century realities "Hitler zeigt uns den weg" or "Hitler shows us the way". Even Rockwell knew this as his liberally used NS activism and ideology as a major plank of his post-war NS revival and there's nothing wrong with Rockwell's approach even though it is impossible for us to "stay legal" with all these Jewish laws around.

Conservatism or "rejuvenating the constitution" or "returning America to real Americans" is all just a big cop out. The only way to save, defend and develop the white race is for militant action partly out in the open and also supported by IRA type action. I am National Socialist by birth, by upbringing and by choice because I believe, much more importantly than considerations of dress, that National Socialism gives me a racial worldview and the right "armour" by which to address and approach this fight. You might be surprised by the many so-called "left" wing social policies us German NS fight for! We have to act clever and box clever just to survive state repression but my more important points relate to belief, and to action. We cannot restrict this fight to being respectable. Hitler was certainly one of the milleniums most notable personalities. If not, the most notable. However, as with popes, kings, crooners etc...mortal infallability is a very dangerous concept. Hitler is proof of this. Of course, he was necessary to get the ball rolling and was a brilliant military strategist. He also made more than just a few false decisions and had overinflated visions of grandeur which he couldn't back up.
Positive points:
1- Racially homogenizing society
2- Resisting the terms of Versailles
3- Screwing down the Germans who evidently need this constantly
Negative points:
1- Commiting the foolish gesture of declaring war on the US, just because Japan did so first
2- Not listening to his high-ranking officers. Point 1, especially
3- Underestimating critical situations
a- Russian winters
b- fighting on too many fronts
c- trusting sabotage-capable slave labor with the manufacture of armaments
d- devoting valuable resources to enormous projects which had no immediate neccessity
e- failure to adress fundamental constitutional issues (reformation of civil service laws. Restructuring of the judiciary)
f- failure to mistrust subordinates who were busy engaging in power play against each other (SS vs. SA), thus not attending to the need of establishing a tight chain of command and accountability.

It is foolish to surrender the control over yourself to any one individual, except maybe to your own self. Even then, that could prove questionable.
The 3rd reich really should remain a chapter in history and we should learn from the mistakes made, during this era, for the purpose of organizing a successful 4th and hopefully final Reich
