From Day one,

since I logged on in December 2003,

I have always expected great things from The VNN

and the VNN-Forum.

In general, I have not been disappointed.

The Vanguard News Network has offered cutting-edge commentary,

breaking news,

and a meaningful analysis that puts everything together, quite nicely.

Please don't mistake my sincere concern

for negative nit picking or nagging slander.

I've seen and experienced Vnn in it's highs and in it's lows.

This new recent low is markedly different however,

and I'm curious if it is, indeed, marking the end

of the "Spirit of Vnn".

Specifically, the Vision Alex had for the Vnn-Forum.

Some say, "all good things must come to an end".

Maybe that rings true in the Forum's case.

Even though Vnn still exists in name and in physical appearance,

it appears as though the "Spirit of Vnn",

that Alex brilliantly animated so passionately, has moved on.

The Participation of the Individual in any great movement

is always temporary.

Most of us are forever appreciative of Yankee Jim's Efforts and

we all hope Alex and Stan will realize strengthened health,

increased stamina, and renewed vigor soon!

My hope during this transition is this:

that the many seeds of truth and inspiration

that were planted here on the Vnn forum

will bear a much anticipated, bountiful harvest.

It is my hope also, that the "Spirit of Vnn"

will grow stronger day by day,

living through the ever changing manifestations

that our community and movement will certainly become.

Those "sincere members"

who have seen the changes from the beginning

might understand what I am saying.

This transformation doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Perhaps it is a good thing.

The Vnn-Forum has served us well,

performing a most valuable service.

The Stepping stones have been laid for our future development.

The Evolution in our thinking is embarking on a new horizon.

I would like to express my appreciation to those

who have worked so diligently behind the screens

to achieve Alex's stated goals for the Vnn-Forum.

Thanks for your efforts, they certainly have not been in Vain.

Sincerely, BB.

Be prepared.
