That laptop looks very unprofessional. You can tell by all the eXtrEmE! metal stuff and the kewl X that it's hardcore to the max. Obviously it's made to appeal to kids.
Dell's XPS line are their top-line stuff. The 9300 uses the same base but without the XPS name (which you will spend a couple of hundred extra just for that) but I got the 9300 which you can build up to a top-line XPS.
As far as desktop PC's I've been building them from scratch for about 15 years and now build custom ones for many professionals around the DC area, but I'm mostly a hobbyist.

Here is my setup:
I like more professional equipment. I don't mean to sound offensive, but in my opinion I can't stand the X and other plastic decals and junk that serve no purpose which are marketed to kids in all sorts of modern ricer cases.
I like style in professionalism, things that are designed with efficiency and style at the same time. Such as the ATC-410 case in my photo which has been discontinued and is impossible to get nowadays.
It can be either rackmount or tower. It has flawless ventilation and prevents from any dust getting in. It has 6 5" bays in it's compact design, 3 of which can instead be a 120mm fan intake. If I ever get a serious machine shop I'm definitely reproducing these.
Also, where do you get the idea that Dell's a jew. I've never heard that. And he's from Austin I believe. I don't think there are too many kikes from Austin.
Austin is crawling with jews affiliated with the University, law firms, lobbyist groups and national businesses. Michael Saul Dell is the most powerful jew in Austin, and the man who funded the giant jewish community center.

"In fact, Austin's most prominent high-tech business leader, Michael Dell, is Jewish."

"About nine years ago Michael and Susan Dell purchased a 40-acre site in the heart of the Jewish Community and donated this for use as a Jewish Community Center and for other Jewish Organizations. On January 2, 2000 the Jewish Community Association of Austin opened its doors."

OK. I had never before considered that he might be a Jew.
Jews Did 9/11
I've heard before that Dell is either jew or half-jew. He does look jewish.

This actually kind of sucks. I make a practice of boycotting Jewish products if I am aware of it. I hate HPs and Compaqs and I've never cared for Gateway. Any recommendations that don't involve my having to put it together myself?

Some of the custom PC's sold on Ebay made be small PC companies are pretty nice.

It's not that hard to put them together yourself. If you need help choosing the parts just post about it and I'd be glad to give some advice. I've built over 5 by now. I never have or will buy prebuilt pieces of shit (except when it comes to laptops, not much building to do there).
4. People who like Dells are generally idiots.
LOL. Hear, hear!
Here's my sexy box I built myself (4000+ AMD, 7800GTX):

No, but the chicks dig it.

I can tell you have never used a Mac, because you don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about.
Go read some Mac reviews before slamming them.
Oh, and yes, I know Steve Jobs is a Jew. He is hiding under my bed right now.

Torvalds switches to Apple

Linux creator Linus Torvalds said this afternoon that he's now running an Apple Macintosh as his main desktop, mainly for work reasons, although partly simply because he's a self-described "technology whore".
Torvalds, who initially created Linux for the Intel x86 platform, revealed to the Linux Kernel Mailing List in February during a discussion on kernel size reduction that his main desktop machine no longer featured an x86 processor. Hence, Torvalds said, a patch specific to the x86 platform that he was submitting to the list for consideration was totally untested.
ZDNet Australia was intrigued by this remark, and sought to question Torvalds on why the man who has single-handedly revolutionised the use of Unix on the x86 platform would move away from it, and where he had moved to.
Torvald's response came quickly and succinctly. "My main machine these days is a dual 2GHz G5 (aka PowerPC 970) - it's physically a regular Apple Mac, although it obviously only runs Linux, so I don't think you can call it a Mac any more
" he said.
"As to the why ... Part of it is simply that I wanted to try something else, and I felt like there were enough people testing the x86 side that it certainly didn't need me. Part of it is that I personally believe there are two main architectures out there: Power and x86-64 are what _I_ think are the two most relevant ones, and I decided that I had to at least check the other side of it out seriously if I really believed that," said Torvalds.
However the kernel guru stopped any potential accusations of favouritism in their tracks, saying: "And don't read anything really deep into that - Linux supports 20+ architectures, and the fact that I personally think that two of them are more likely to be the most relevant really doesn't mean all that much. It's just a personal quirk of mine."
But it turns out that the man who created a revolutionary operating system which he initially described as "just a hobby, won't be big and professional like GNU", is probably not all that different from any other technology enthusiast.
"Oh, and part of it is that I got the machine for free," said Torvalds, "I'm really a technology whore."

Experimening with a 1 button keyboard would be interesting, but no doctor will ever give me a mental handicap permit required to use macs. That and I'd rather spend my money on something more productive, like getting hubcap spinners, chrome exhaust tips, and awesome giant paint splatter stickers that make my car go faster and impress the niggers.
Who cares what torvalds uses? He's still a linux developer, and he didn't switch to it. He's just using the hardware. And he did it because it was free. Plus don't forget apple switched to x86 and is kissing Intel's ass anyways.

I have to deal with Dell customer service frequently at my job.
Only once have I ever gotten a White person on the phone!
And he was Canadian! (nothing against Canadians) ]Last I heard, Dell's customer service was outsourced to India. If you got through to an actual Canadian, consider yourself lucky.
