Dr. Goldberg, of the University of Baloney in Berkeley, California, winds up his after-school session with one of his better White pupils, Mr. Smith:

Mr. Smith: "Wow! What a genius you are, Dr. Goldberg! I'm in awe! Really! No wonder they call you 'the greatest sociologist in history!'"

Dr. Goldberg: "Well, thank you, Mr. Smith. Thank you. Now, about my hourly fee..."

Mr. Smith: "Oh, yes! I've got the money right here, Dr. Goldberg: a check for $200.00."

Dr. Goldberg: "Good. Wonderful. You have come so far already, Mr. Smith. It's hard to believe that this is only our 10th after-school session! I'm proud of you. See you next week!"
