If AZ is a "meth lab" for wanting to protect its borders, then Israel must be giant illicit pharmaceutical manufacturing facility - with tens of thousands of employees and billions in sales - for the way it controls its borders.

If a homeless person on the side of the road decides to "call" a "press conference", everyone would likely ignore him. Sheriff Clarence Dupnik calls a press conference to call his state "bigoted", and yet the press treats this very questionable behavior - the possible onslaught of early senility - as "enlightened opinion."

It would be like a middle manager at a company calling a press conference to denounce his shareholders and customers as "bigots" and "assholes." The guy would not only be out of his job immediately (and probably out of his profession), but probably thrown into the loony bin.

That being the case, we believe it is time for Sheriff Clarence Dupnik to step down.

The local sheriff of 30 years, Clarence Dupnik, perhaps put it most bluntly, condemning his native state as "the mecca for prejudice and bigotry."

"The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous," he said. "And unfortunately Arizona, I think, has become sort of the capital."
