North Korea and the vanishing American Empire

Does Kim Jung Il read the newspapers?
If Kim thumbed through today’s news he would have seen the limp and bloodied body of a dead Palestinian boy being rushed away from the site of Israel’s latest attack in Gaza. He would have read about the mysterious explosions that rocked Kabul overnight and the 30 or so “alleged” Taliban that were blown up in America’s scattershot carpet-bombing of southern Afghanistan. He would have seen that 24 new bodies of bound and brutalized Iraqis had been dumped at the Baghdad morgue after being abducted and tortured by the roaming death squads which control the capital.
He might have spotted a story about America’s continued involvement in Central Asia where the thirst for oil and natural gas has Bush’s NGOs toppling governments behind the pretext of “spreading democracy”. Or, he may have noticed an article which recounted Bush’s latest saber-rattling at Iran for their “alleged” nuclear weapons program.
Wherever he looked, he would have found examples of the United States and Israel rampaging through Muslim countries; ignoring international law and flaunting the human rights of the native people.
Doesn’t this explain why Kim believes that he needs the protection of a nuclear arsenal to ward off an American attack?
How can we expect North Korea to stop building nukes when 2 of the world’s most powerful nations have just doused the planet with gasoline and are reaching for the matches?
Like every other world leader, Kim simply wants to avoid ending up like Saddam Hussein. His missile tests were designed to send a message to Washington that North Korea has no intention of being the next victim of Bush’s “democratization” program. And, while the tests may have been condemned by the pro-American media, we can at least appreciate the logic of his motives.
But, does that mean that North Korea is a threat to American national security or to the region?
Kim has had plenty of opportunity to cause trouble if that’s what he wanted. For 6 years the Bush administration has treated the reclusive Kim with complete contempt, and yet Kim has not retaliated. In 2001 North Korea was included in Bush’s “Axis of Evil” speech, a provocative list of the administration’s “target states”. In 2003 Dick Cheney followed up with a not-so veiled threat saying, “I have been charged by the President with making sure that none of the tyrannies in the world are negotiated with. We don’t negotiate with evil, we defeat it.”
In case Kim hadn’t gotten the message from the V.P., John Bolton offered this blistering warning: “The end of North Korea is our policy,” adding that the Pyongyang regime was a “hellish nightmare”.
Not to be outdone, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld leaked a memo to the UK Telegraph in April 2003 which called “for regime change in North Korea.”
Kim’s “crash course” in nuclear weapons technology is due entirely to incitements by the Bush administration. His behavior tells us that he’s taking the threats seriously and is rushing to create a credible deterrent. It’s clear that his intentions are purely defensive and that he poses no danger to his neighbors or the United States.
The same rule applies to Kim’s missile tests which have rattled the US, Japan and South Korea. The tests were meant to send a “hands off” message to Washington but, unfortunately, they splashed helplessly into the sea. This could have the adverse effect on the overall situation by emboldening the administration hawks to reconsider military action. The the real risk of violence comes from the American battleship group which has moved into the waters just off the coast of North Korea; if fighting breaks out, that's where it will begin.
So far, Kim has acted predictably. He probably would prefer to feed his starving people than to build nukes, but feels that he has no other option. The onus for proliferation lies entirely with Bush and his team of armchair warriors. Rather than agree to bilateral negotiations, Bush has stubbornly refused to sit down with North Korea and, thus, escalated the situation into another crisis. The irony is that Bush knows exactly what Kim wants, but refuses to yield.
More than anything, North Korea wants assurances from the administration that they will not be attacked. The issue is downplayed in the media because the forth estate would like to obscure the fact that the US rules the world through the threat of force. The administration will not sign a “non-aggression pact” with North Korea because that would undermine its role as the global Mafia chieftain who keeps the weaker states in line by breaking legs. The Bush people think it would be unseemly for the world’s only superpower to seriously address the security needs of its underlings.
The media has done an admirable job of concealing the facts about America’s involvement on the Korean peninsula. Ever since the end of the Korean War in the 1950s the US has maintained a massive military presence in the south (which at one time included nuclear weapons) which has always been an irritant to the North. As Gary Leupp noted in a Counterpunch article “Basic Facts People should know about North Korea”, Koreans are “one of the world’s most homogeneous groups, and united from the 7th century through 1945, is now divided into 2 nations due primarily to the actions of the Truman administration and the US military”. “Reunification” of the peninsula is not in America’s geopolitical interests and the US government has done everything in its power to block progress in that regard. The Bush administration has taken a hammer to South Korea’s “sunshine policy” and exacerbated tensions with its hard-line policies. This guarantees that the US will be allowed to maintain its basing rights in the south which they see as critical to America’s long-term interests in the region.
The media focuses exclusively on the bizarre personality of Kim Jung Il rather than historical facts which might clarify the real issues. What possible difference does it make if Kim is an oddball or not? The lazy media is simply demonizing him to divert attention from the facts. In 1994 the Bill Clinton committed to the “Framework Agreement”; a deal which promised to provide food, fuel and 2 light-water nuclear reactors in exchange for North Korea’s abandoning its nuclear weapons programs. The North agreed to these terms but the U.S. HAS NEVER HONORED ITS OBLIGATIONS. This isn’t information that we should expect to read in the newspapers since it clearly shows that America is responsible for the current standoff.
When Bush took office in 2000, he rejected the idea of any engagement with the North and derided the Clinton plan as “blackmail”. The consequences of this reversal in policy are obvious. The intelligence agencies now believe that the North has enough fissile material for between 2 to 8 nuclear warheads and is currently developing the required delivery-systems.
By any standard, the Bush policy has been an utter flop. Now, the “war president” has decided to maximize his failure by pushing for tough sanctions at the Security Council. The prospect of cutting of food and energy supplies to starving civilians never seems to lose its appeal for the plutocrats and corporate kingpins in the Bush administration. The human suffering it creates is never even seriously considered.
Fortunately, Russia and China are blocking Bush’s attempt to get a resolution passed in the Security Council. The bumbling Bush diplomatic team has not been able to get support for “punitive action” and will have to settle for a presidential statement which has no real binding authority. It is an innocuous slap on the wrist without meaning or consequences.
Bush was looking for broad consensus, but ended up looking foolish and impotent once again.
Increasingly, nations are drifting away from Washington; a phenomenon that would cause concern among serious political heavyweights, but leaves the blockheads in the administration completely clueless. Washington’s “soft-power” has eroded more rapidly than its “moral authority” and without any tangible reward. It has been jettisoned as extra-baggage, unnecessary for the world’s greatest military. The Bush team doesn’t seem to grasp that they are already bogged down and overextended in both Afghanistan and Iraq. They still see themselves as riding a wave of American invincibility, but that wave is quickly diminishing to a trickle.
The North Korea flap has further exposed the cracks and fissures in Fortress America. Bush is unable to cobble together a coalition for even the most straightforward crisis. While Condi and Bolton stomp around waving their hands in the air, China and Russia have reacted coolly, shrugging off Washington’s entreaties as just more grist for the mill. The growing distrust among the allies and vassals has never been more palpable. America’s leadership is not being challenged as much as it is simply being ignored. No one is particularly eager to follow the United States lead anymore. That’s the unfortunate price that one pays for leading the world in human rights abuse and aligning with the Middle East pit-bull, Israel.

I really like Kim Jung-il ! :cheers: He upsets the Kikevermin & their sockpupperts to no end. They don't have a clue how to deal with him, they are so use to using their standard bully, smear, & blackmail methods, KJ-il, it just does not work with this man.

South Korea is virtually just as homogenous, yet they've enjoyed considerabe US support. The idea that "ZOG" is anti-DPRK just because they're racially homogenous is tenuous.

What an enlightening article, Joseph. Although, like all who understand who and what the Kwa is, I have increasingly sided morally with North Korea, I realize now I have never fully understood what has been going on between the kwa and N. Korea and, indeed, between the kwa and Korea. Why the Korean War, really? The article doesn't address this question head on, unfortunately. But, nevertheless, this one article has pulled everything else together in one comprehensible package. And the forced (at the cost of many American White lives as usual) division of Korea into two antagonistic nations (divide and conquer plus, more importantly, a check on China and Russia) has been clearly explained. Mike Whitney is a valuable find.

South Korea has many negro bastards in it. It is legal for a US army negroes in South Korea to rape Korean women. This is one major reason JOG insists on having army bases in countries like South Korea, Japan and Germany.
Fortunately, the negro bastards are not generally liked in South Korea.

seriously, no population on earth is as mindlessly brainwashed as the north koreans, who constantly refer to the person who mercilessly starve and torture them as "our dear leader"

Ed Steele might be wrong about an attack on the US. If this keeps up we'll be a bigger Paraguay (with a whole lot more debt). The world will let the Kwa sink into insignificance as our society implodes down to impoverishment and tribal warfare.
The real Franz Josef, Emperor of Austria a century ago when it was the world's largest land imperium, was famous briefly for writing edicts his palace staff never sent out, much less tried to enforce. He would have dwindled into insignificance too but started World War I instead. My great grandmother was on his palace payroll as a tutor. I'd give much to be able to talk to her.

Right, I was told one of the tell-tale signs of half-Americans in Seoul is body odor, which ethnic Koreans do not have. They can literally sniff out the nigger in the woodpile.
Reagan was in his first term when Germany sent the infamous "send less niggers" memo to NATO headquarters. I was amazed to hear it and not too amazed ZOG news gave it very little coverage. Reagan, true to form, told them America would send whoever it wanted.
The Japs on Okinawa did better with their protests, but it took some vicious rape-murders to get US attention.
But yeah. Behind the scenes all American allies, especially Japan and Germany, have complained about the soldiers we dump into their countries.

Rather than post links and paragraphs which I might do, but instead these words will do for now.
Korea was given to Japan, in a peace settlement after Japan surprise attacked the Czar's Navy at Sun up in a real surprise attack sinking it 100 years ago, not like the fake surprise and treason one in Pearl Harbor. This one was set up by Schiff, and London to punish the Czar for not doing as he was ask. Teddy Roosenvelt, was awarded a Noble peace prize for brokering a peace treaty between Japan and Russia, with Japan receiving Korea in the deal.
The U.S.S.A. U.N. got Korea as war booty in 1945. The invasion from the North over the 38th line, was about stopping Douglas MacArthur, from getting in the White House in 1952. They knew he was administrating Japan and was going to resign and prepare to run for office. They were not going to give up the control of the U.S. central regime after 20 years of FDR and Truman, they had our Government. The 54,000 white men murdered in heavy combat, was jus to keep the General and any White man from retaking the U.S.S.A.

There was a White American guy on 60 minutes tonight who was captured or willingly went over to the North Korean side during the Korean war. He lived in North Korea for a bunch of years and was given a young Japanese lady to marry by the North Korean gov. She was kidnapped by the North Korean government to teach North Koreans how to speak Japanese. Eventually the North Korean Gov let both of them freed and they stayed together, during there life in North Korea they had two half breed kids.

Whack North Korea, Before It Can Protect Itself?

Finding itself in Republican sights and with no Democratic power center to offer protection, National Public Radio is turning into an upscale version of Fox "News." Nevertheless, information still gets out if the listener is sufficiently attentive.
On July 5, NPR's "All Things Considered" interviewed two warmongers for their views on the North Korean missile test. One was Ashton Carter, a Clinton administration Assistant Secretary of Defense, now at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. The other was Ambassador Christopher Hill, an Assistant Secretary of State in the Bush regime.
The Clinton DOD assistant secretary is coauthor of a recent article advocating an unilateral US military attack on North Korea. HIs first pitch on NPR was that the whole region, not just the US, is threatened by North Korea and that everyone should gang up on North Korea to make them behave. The NPR interviewer asked Carter to reconcile his multilateralism with his own recommendation for the US to unilaterally attack North Korea. Carter replied that North Korea's missile was developed to attack us, so we had to protect ourselves.
When the NPR interviewer asked Carter why deterrence would fail with North Korea when deterrence succeeded in the case of the more powerful Soviet Union, Carter agreed that North Korea was not sufficiently insane to launch an attack on the US. So, if the US is not in danger of being attacked by North Korea, why does Carter want to attack North Korea?
The answer is, well, you see, if we permit North Korea to develop any weapon with which they might be able to stand up to us on some issue critical to North Korea, well, they might not do as we want them to do. Carter could not conceive of a world in which any country existed that might be able to behave differently than the US dictates.
Ambassador Hill agreed, but he came at it in a different way. Hill's view is that it is China's, Japan's, and South Korea's responsibility to make North Korea behave as the US wants it to behave. Both Hill and Carter agreed that no country, with the exception of Israel, has a right to any interests of its own unless it is an interest that coincides with US interests. No other interest is legitimate.
Listening to the pair of hegemonic maniacs, I realized that the US is the new Rome--there is no legitimate power but us. Any other power is a potential threat to our interests and must be eliminated before it gets any independent ideas. The US, however, is far more dangerous than Rome. Rome saw its world as the Mediterranean and, for a while, Northern Europe, but the US thinks the whole world is its oyster. The Bush regime is busy trying to marginalize Russia, and neocons are preparing war plans to attack China before that country can achieve military parity with the US.
Gentle reader, consider what it means when our government believes other countries have no right to their own interests unless they coincide with US interests. It means that we are the tyrant country. We cannot be the tyrant country without being perceived as the tyrant country. Consequently, the rest of the world unites against us.
How is the US, which has spent three years proving that it cannot successfully occupy Iraq, a small country of only 25 million people, going to control India, China, Russia, Europe, Africa and South America?
It's not going to happen.
What it does mean is that the US government in its hubris and delusion is going to continue starting wars and attacking other countries until a coalition of greater forces smashes us. Even among our European allies we are already perceived as the greatest threat to world peace and stability.
Our power is not what it once was. We are weak in manufacturing and dependent on China for advanced technology products. We are dependent on China to finance our wars, our budget and trade deficits. How long will China accommodate us when China reads about Bush's plans to prevent China from achieving military parity?
The Bush regime thinks that it can have every country under its thumb. Neocons are fond of proclaiming that it is a unipolar world in which the US is supreme. This is a fantasy, and it is rapidly becoming a nightmare.

You really need to stop watching FOX NEWS. It’s making you sound very stupid.

And making statements like this is leaving no doubt. You can honestly say that you don’t feel that Americas are brainwashed? 
Go ahead and hate me for telling you the truth, I understand. My suggestion would be for you to question your sources of news information more carefully and look to see if a jew is behind those sources. Be very skeptical of everything.
