Good work on the maps. Here is a link to the 1990 census showing where the hispanic population lived in the US.
Here is one for the black population in the US in 1990
They are over 1 meg in size but very detailed by county.

Better yet , " Death of Utopia ".
Socal was the working man's utopia. Good jobs, cheap living and a very easy life ( no snow to shovel , tornadoes , excessive heat or cold ) .

Asians and Pacific Islanders.
Lots of those areas , designated API , are Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese .
