"Hey Glenn,

"I got the first issue of Flex(magazine) a few months ago, however, I'm kind of desperate for some news. Do you think you could order a 1 month subscription to the Columbia Daily Tribune (101 N. Fourth St, PO Box 798, Columbia, MO 65205 - 1-800-333-6799 ?

To tell you the truth, I can't read that fast ("I'm always "back tracking", going back and reading things over and over again, because I feel like I've missed something important, which is one of the main symptoms of obsessive-compulsive-disorder, according to the psychiatrists.)

There's a good book entitled "The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Washing" by Dr. Judith Rappaport you should read because there's a lot of case studies in it, sometimes involving children as young as 10 years old that are similar to mine. Consequently, a 7 day per week subscription to a newspaper for anything longer than a month is just too much to read. That way I could catch up to some degree on current events since their regulations don't permit long-term ad-seg inmates the privilege of watching TV, or even listening to a radio.

Well, I guess that's about it for now so I'll close.

Joseph"

PS: Within a few weeks I'll get an interview to you I plan to write, using questions asked to celebrities in some of the periodicals I get, plus a few that I've thought up. The answers that I put with them will be my own original ones, of course, so it should be pretty interesting. You might even want to post it on the internet, so the comrades can read it.

PPS: These are my daughter's telephone numbers if you'd like to speak with her."

(End of letter)

NOTE: I went ahead and paid for a 3-month subscription to the Columbia Tribune over the phone with my credit card. Only $37.11. He'll receive 3 editions per week (Wed, Sat, and Sunday)

Here's JPF's address for those with the initiative and guts to drop him a few lines of moral support while he sits on death row.
