"Dear Brother Glenn,
"I was happy to receive your letter dated September 1st this past Friday, September 18th, as well as your $100.00 donation to my canteen a couple of weeks ago. When I received word that somebody named "Miller" had put $100.00 into my account, I was pretty sure that it was you, but thought I might as well wait for your letter (which I knew would be coming) to be positive but didn't figure on the wait being so long. (Go ahead, by the way, and figure that your letters will take two to two and a half weeks to reach me.) Thank you for all your help. If you would, please inform everybody that if they wish to help cover my legal costs, they should send cash, check, or money order to my mother, Evelyn Hutchenson at 102 Crescent Ave, East Peoria, IL 61611, as my father is now infirm, unfortunately. We appreciate all help. My fight for vindication has been pretty financially devastating these past several years and so we need whatever help we can get. People have already generously funded my canteen - now they can help me best by helping my mother pay the legal bills. (I already have $1,200.00 in my canteen and this should last me a long time).

"From now on, I will let you know what portions of my letters are fine to post on the internet. For this letter, for example, please only post the 1st paragraph at your leisure or a portion of it. Thanks, Glenn.
"I'm glad that you never forgot me, my friend, and I've never forgotten any of you either (you can post this sentence too).
"Yours for truth, justice, and the American way,
Matt" (end of letter)
