What "official numbers" do you think are bullshit?

This is my particular "official number" that drives me crazy...

11 MILLION

Supposedly that is the number of illegal immigrants in the country. The Powers That Be have been gravely intoning "11 Million" since Bill Clinton getting a blowjob was front page news. There is absolutely no WAY 11 million is accurate anymore. I'd say its gotta be at least 20, maybe 30 million. This doesn't count 1 million legal immigrants per year nor all the people dropping out of border hopper wombs and getting full American citizenship from the 14th Amendment. I can't even bike around town without seeing plain-as-day illegals. I'm not in some border state. Far from it. I'm in the middle of Wisconsin!

This is the "official number" as of 2007: 12.5 million. As of 2008, 11 million.
So we had a net negative immigration rate of 1.5 million people, or a 12 percent drop in the illegal immigration population in one year.
Really? Really Pew Research? Really New York Times? This seems to be the new piece of propaganda: America's economy is shitty so the illegals are living.
Mainstream press has been saying it since 2008.
