Is there any kind of non-biased study available that would show the level of technical advancement of blacks/mexcrement/indians et al. if there were never any contact with Whites?

I read the book "Guns, Germs and Steel" by Jared Diamond, and he reduces White advancement to geographical location and a few lucky inventions. Which is basically bullshit and it was all I could do to get through it.

I think with the possible exception of Asians, all other races would still to this day be at the same technological level they were when they were first contacted by the White man.
