We hear this theme over and over again in some segments of the alternative right. This is the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs.

It is such a dead horse. Even in a perfect world, those jobs would eventually be replaced by machines. Even despite all this outsourcing, affirmative action and wage suppression by Third World immigration, most Whites today are better off financially than their grandparents and great grandparents were.

If you took the muds out of our poverty statistics, Whites are on average doing quite well.

Let's assume we never got rid of manufacturing jobs and the median wage right out of high school was $25 per hour and it skyrocketed after that. What do you suppose this significant increase in purchasing power would do to everything we pay for? Food, gas, rent, real estate, vehicles, clothing, etc.?

Go to any part of the country that has an abundance of well-paying jobs. What you will also find are a very high costs of living.

There are plenty of things to talk about but the outsourcing of grunt labor to China should not be very high on the list.
