Musical Vocals and Technology Today: Interesting

One reason why I like folk music is that it's just a guy (or a girl) with an acoustic guitar on a stage. That's it. Simple. (Yes, the folk music scene was full of communists, but hey, you can't have everything).

Machines and technology have removed all the "natural" things from our lives. (I am told that a lot of cheese today isn't "real": it has unnatural rennet. "Songwriters" are said to write music today using machines/computers that create beats/lyrics [no doubt, AI can do that]).

That's not good. Fake things lead to fake people. In fact, consider the "transhumanist" movement! It wants to create "people" who are half-human/half-machine! "Technology for technology's sake" is a sinister road that we're traveling.

Now we have: "pitch corrected" songs. Crap! I've been to major rock concerts where the band was missing notes left and right (probably due to booze) and guess what: nobody cared! It didn't matter.

The lesson here, re: "corrected" human vocals: humans are not robots and thank god they are not! They are not perfect, and we don't want them to be perfect. We want human vocal "hills and valleys." We want "warts and all."

Technology "takes the nature out" of a song being sung today, compared to 1939, when such technology didn't exist, e.g., in this example below of Judy Garland singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" (a favorite of mine; my dad's too). It has some small blips in it but that's just fine.

(Maybe that's why queers love Judy Garland: queers have "more-female brains" and so perhaps they "notice more" her natural-born talent, her "something extra" [until substance abuse ruined her voice] that does not exist in "modern" vocals because they all have been "pitch corrected"; I get sad when I watch "The Wizard of Oz" [1939] because I know that 60 million innocent people "went over the rainbow" just two years later from 1941-1945 thanks to Team Jew's oily scheming and maneuvering. I picture those young White men in the darkened movie theaters in 1939 watching Judy Garland on the screen and they don't know that they'll be dead soon. That world war didn't have to happen. Poland was just a bullshit excuse. Team Jew wanted it to happen).
