I made a trip to Longwood University in the hopes of confronting Tim Wise over his hate Whitey agenda. The crowd wasn't huge, probably many were there for a course requirement, because after his hour of propaganda the crowd really thinned out. Thankfully I came prepared and was delighted that he chose to take questions/comments from the audience. I made my way down the stage and my first point was to correct a glaring error in his spiel. Wise is not just anti-White, but very anti-law enforcement. He said that police were taught to "shoot to kill". I informed him that is not correct that it is "shoot to stop". Then he wanted to say well they must be shooting to kill, since if they meant to wound they'd only shoot a person in the hand or leg. I told him that most ranges teach you to shoot at center body mass and that you'd have to be a sniper or expert marksman to target a specific part of the body. He said that some cops had told him about "shoot to kill" and I replied none of them that I've ever known said that. Of course he went on and on about Mike Brown and how he'd been shot in the hand and was running away. I asked him if he was aware of the Missouri law the says a law enforcement officer has a duty to shoot a fleeing felon, because at this point it was an established fact that Brown had committed a felony by assaulting Darren Wilson? He said I was wrong about Missouri law that the local prosecutor had gotten it wrong. I dropped it since I didn't have a copy of the Missouri law.

Now onto the main event. Wise had admonished the audience to be careful what you put out on the internet that it can come back to visit you. I said keeping that in mind, I'd like to read him a quote of his from Daily KOS Nov. 2010. I invited him to stop me if I got anything wrong or if he was misquoted.

"Your kind-mostly older white folks beholden to an absurd, inaccurate, nostalgic fantasy of what America used to be like-are dying...And the pantheon of American history, old White people have pretty much always been the bad guys, the keepers of the hegemonic and reactionary flame, the folks unwilling to share the category of America with others on equal terms. Fine, keep it up. It doesn't matter. Because you're on the endangered list. And unlike, say the bald eagle or some exotic species of muskrat, you are not worth saving...By then, half the country will be black or brown. And there is nothing you can do about it."

I told him "You are wrong. We will educate our young people and turn them against the toxic poison that you are selling."
