As you may know, H Res 799 is legislation introduced by Representative Kucinich of Ohio which would impeach Vice President Cheney for high crimes and misdemeanors. Impeachment is the first stage in a two stage process Congress can use to remove a government official from his position. While I agree with you that the Bush Administration has demonstrated an egregious lack of planning in Iraq and poor judgment in a wide variety of areas, I have not seen evidence that Vice President Cheney has performed the specific indignations which warrant impeachment.
