For over one hundred years, a specter has been shadowing the affairs of the world. This thing has been a major player in the trade union movement and in labour politics. Karl Marx said in the Manifesto of the Communist Party that this thing was haunting the rulers of Europe during the 19th century. This thing has brought tyranny to hundreds of millions of people. It has cost the lives of between 50 to 100 million people. This thing is communism.

Some say that communist is an invention of the Jews, bull shit. Others say it is a conspiracy against freedom especially the west, bullshit. Groups say that it is a working class movement and of the oppressed people, bull shit. The communists are liars. Communism has never been a movement of the working class nor of the oppressed people. There has never been a working class leader of a Marxist state. The only leaders of the Marxist movements have been ones from the middle class and from the intelligentsia. And who are these middle class intelligentsia people who I am talking about? Che Guevara, Pol Pot, Fidel Castro, Enver Hoxha and Kim il-Sung. All are responsible for decades of misery, poverty and for the deaths of millions of people.

Communism is an invention of the intelligentsia and a vehicle to further advance the interests of a select few. Even these days, communist leaders are driven by selfish desires for power, luxury and wealth at the expense of the movement that they seek to serve. People also suffer for the delusional selfish decadent desires of the communist leaderships.

The communists speak of the abolishment of the nation-states but they have no desire to abolish them. They don’t want to because they want to have supreme power and wealth for life. They become corrupt, arrogant and selfish.

The Soviet Union and China are fine examples of corruption and oppression. In a quest to maintain power, communists use any means possible. They use terrorism, bullying, imprisonment and murder against their own people.

One million people died under the Pol Pot regime. People suffered fates far worse then what the Slavic people did in Hitler’s Germany or in Hussein’s Iraq. Medical experiments were done on innocent people out of sadistic urges. Pregnant women were cut up alive so that the doctors could experiment on them and their unborn babies. Nothing was done to reduce their pain. Medical tests by military doctors were carried out on prisoners so that the doctors could develop treatments for their injured soldiers. It is needless to say that many prisoners died. That is one of many horrors and crimes of communism.

In Marxist states, the police and intelligence agencies had total power of life and death over the people of East Germany. East Germany had one of the largest intelligence agencies in history. The STASI had a file on nearly every one. Eight kilometres of files in total. The Marxist states were like some thing out of George Orwell’s 1984.

Communists cannot deny that their ideology is about murder, genocide and oppression. Karl Marx advocated and justified the use of violence towards any form of oppression against communism. He even said that opponents should be killed. We all know about the policies of the Marxist states towards people who wanted to leave. Recently, a East German government order was found that dated from the 1970s that ordered security forces to shoot at any one found attempting to flee the country. It has recently been determined that up to 1,100 were killed trying to flee former East Germany between 1949 to 1990.

All of the Marxist states in Eastern Europe were depressing to live in and had low living standards. People lived in third world conditions and were living in total poverty. Just look at Romania. Their president built a massive building for him self while his people struggled to survive. In 1989, he and his wife were killed by his own people out of pure hatred for what he had done to them.

The Communist Party of Australia is no exception. People claim that it is a cult along with the rest of the socialist movement. The Communist Party isn’t a cult. The Communist Party isn’t free or democratic. Peter Symon, who died last December last year, was a ruthless vindictive dictator who ruled the Party with an iron fist. He did not allow for any dissent and used the internal system to smash any form of opposition and dissent. That system was democratic centralism. Communist dictators created democratic Centralism for communist party members and to be administered by communist dictators. It is neither democratic nor fair. He, like so many other communist leaders, manipulated the Party system to ensure that he would remain in power forever. As a result, Peter Symon was General Secretary for 36 years until the day he died. Symon crippled democracy with in the Communist Party by banning factions and purging any one who opposed him. Symon didn’t allow any of his opponents to join the Party. He had a strangle hold on every thing that went on in the Party. This looks set to continue under Hannah Middleton who is the new Party General Secretary.

People, it is about time we face the facts that communism was really a crime against mankind, human nature and innocent ordinary people. It would take me all day to list the crimes of this conspiracy of intellectuals and middle class activists. Communism is no friend to the worker but an enemy. An enemy that has cost the lives of 50 to 100 million people. It is a deadly pipe dream that cannot be matched by any disease in its deadliest. Communism and capitalism are as bad as each other. We, as humans and as caring people, must expose, denounce and reject both communism and capitalism. They are very deadly.

For if we don’t, then our fellow humans will pay a heavy price if not a mortal price.
