I question the premise that it was "truly an Aryan brotherhood." I think it started in San Quentin in 1967 as an understandable self-protection measure between White inmates faced with Negro and Chicano gangs, but being comprised of White criminals, it was a criminal gang from the start and not an "Aryan" anything in the sense it was not "noble." Understandable self protection arrangement, but there have been many such arrangements that did not merit the august title of "Aryan."

I have also read that AB admits Jews. After a brief search I could not find those sources so I cant speak to their credibility. Anyone heard of this? I understand that in prison a criminal Jew may be a valuable asset to a White gang, but no group of "Aryans" has "brotherhood" with a Jew.
