A few months back the owner of this building put it up for sale. I couldn't have been happier because the old owner never fixed shit around here. The new owner has really fixed this place up, but that isn't why I like the guy so much- he is also a Fargo Police Officer a member of the local SWAT team. Since my wife and I worked different schedules, she is often home by herself. Yeah, I know it's just quiet little Fargo- but anything can happen anywhere. 7 blocks to the west of here is the Somalian Immigrant Resource Center, where a 16 year old white girl was dragged into an alley and raped by one those subhumans. Additionally, 7 blocks in the opposite direction of my house is an apartment building with 6 separate apartments- housing 6 Level 3 registered sex offenders....

And just 2 blocks from here is a "wet" shelter- for homeless drunks. They are always staggering around the neighborhood, pissing in broad daylight. Once I came home to find one of these bums sitting inside the building on the stairs. It is not outside the realm of possibility that anyone of these people could get in here and hurt my wife. My upstairs neighbor Brenden was a great guy to have around- he was an Army Ranger with 4 combat tours in Afghanistan under his belt, so I felt fine about leaving the wife here alone- I had fuckin Rambo upstairs....lol But he has moved out and the fact that my new landlord is a police officer makes me very happy indeed. His patrol area happens to be in this very neighborhood. We have him on speed dial should any crazy bastard show up start some shit. He is cop, so all of his friends are cops. All it takes is one push of a button and my wife will have 10 police officers here in less than 3 minutes.
