All the research I've done on the titular question has uncovered the fact that the current producer of "Superman Returns" is a Jew, and that Superman was invented in the first place by two Jews. But not whether Brandon Routh, himself, is a Jew.
He looks Jewish, but that's not always a sure guide. Jews predominate among Hollywood stars, too, but you can find a few real Whites there also.
Although Superman was created by Jews, the idea behind the creation was to show Americans (who are Whites) a super-strong, super-decent, super-noble character that they could like and admire and identify with and cheer for. The earliest Supermen were clearly Aryan in appearance. But once the hook was set in the minds of Americans, the character chosen to play the Man of Steel slowly, incrementally, moved from the Aryan look toward the Jewish look, except less hunch backed and hooknosed than can be seen among real-life powerful Jews such as, for example, Samuel Newhouse.
Superman, in short, was a bit of very successful "wedge" Jewish propaganda that began by seeming to fit in with Aryan ideals but later being evolved toward Jewish ones.
But is Brandon Routh actually a Jew? Or is he merely the most Jewish looking actor who has been selected to play the Superman role so far?

I have no idea as to the race of the actor in question, but I think it's important to point out that Superman was, as you already stated, the product of two Jews who basically retooled and repackaged the Jewish "golem" mythos for modern mass consumption. Siegel and Schuster created a modern-day Golem in Superman. Like the Golem, Superman defends the persecuted innocent – a metaphor for the Jewish people.

Having a secret kike play Superman who then suddenly "remembers" he is a yid would seem to be a typical hymiewood trick. It works with politicians too.

He's a part of the jewish hollywood machine which is jewish enough.
I'm adding him to my index card file under "hollywood jew watch". I have literally thousands of these index cards in a giant file cabinet documenting who is a jew.
Don't forget Bryan Singer, the director, is also a jew. He also directed the 1st two X-Men movies as well as "Apt Pupil".

Superman fans - pathetic souls that they are - say Superman was raised Protestant, as shown in the comic books.
