You can save yourself a lot of trouble by just assuming they are ALL Jews. The very few who aren't are married to Jews, anyway. Or they "grew up speaking Yiddish", for some strange reason.

Hey, there is this thing called a "computer" that you should try.

Any old database, including a freeware one would be a LOT better than your index cards. You could easily add, delete and insert info. You could search and organize data in seconds. Really, it works. Try it.
