Fight over Kool-Aid led to stabbing, police say

EDMONDS -- An argument Monday night over who drank whose Kool-Aid left one man with a stab wound and another man behind bars.

Police were called around 10:40 p.m. to a home in the 21800 block of 96th Avenue W., Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said.

A 24-year-old Seattle man had suffered a cut to his arm during an argument with a man, 45, who lives at the Edmonds home, Anderson said.

The fight reportedly started over Kool-Aid, the drink made from a powdered mix.

The Edmonds man was jailed for investigation of first-degree assault.
