...is still broadcast, but not in the US. I have been downloading and watching a series called "Jumong", which was broadcast in Korea via Munhwa (Culture) Broadcast Co. and I must say, it is a welcome departure from the stupefying drivel that is American TV.

It has a plot, and a complex one at that, containing love and action (heavy on the swordplay).

The characters interact on a meaningful, not cynical or superficial level in relation to the plot.

Virtues such as honesty and loyalty to one's word are put on a pedestal, in lieu of those of capitulation to more-often-than-not a female protagonist by a foolish male.

If one wishes to be entertained, look east.
