What is with modern wimyn & their consistant use of the word 'partner' instead of boyfriend/man/fiancee.

Does anyone else get this where you are?

Around here, I almost never hear them say anything else.

I always pull them up on it/take the piss out them for it too.

'Do you mean, your man/boyfriend/fiancee?'

'Are you talking about your business partner?'

'Big John Wayne fan are you? put 'er there, pardner'

'Partner!? What, you don't have a boyfriend? Are you a lesbo?'

'Partner!? What, you don't have a man? What do you have? some thirld world monkey?'
