In an attempt to make the Guinness Book of World Records, a religious group's 100 by 200 meter (330 by 660 foot) Philippine Flag was damaged by high winds. It is doubtful now that this flag will make it into the record books as the world's largest flag. The current holder of this record is a flag of Bahrain, whic is 318 by 555 feet. Second place is a flag of Pakistan, which is 340 by 510 feet. The US Superflag mentioned is third at 255 by 505 feet. Serves this group right.
